Description |
Yareelo No. 3 and 4 are equipped the MIRA sensors, developed by IZMI RAS, for measuring the energy reflected from the Earth (the albedo of the Earth). Measurements are carried out in two spectral ranges 0.2-5 microns and 0.2-50 microns with a sensitivity of 0.15 +/- 0.05 A / W. The obtained data make possible to assess the indicators affecting global warming. MCA "Yarilo" No. 3, 4 were created on the experience of developing and conducting flight tests of the first generation of spacecraft "Yarilo" No. 1, 2. The devices have significantly increased system fault tolerance, a high-speed radio link has been installed, and the payload volume has been increased. MCA are designed using a “unified service systems” approach to which payload modules are added. In addition, the apparatus "Yarilo" No. 3 is equipped with a magnetometry module for measuring the Earth's magnetic field along three axes. To eliminate the influence of interference from the spacecraft itself on the measurement results, one of the sensors is retracted from the small spacecraft body on a deployable rod made of a composite material with non-magnetic properties. |
