Test technology to monitor oceans (sea-ice detection and sea-ice concentration estimation). |
Description |
Test an existing technology designed to monitor oceans (sea-ice detection and sea-ice concentration estimation) and fit it on the smaller CubeSat frame, which could lead to cheaper solutions to monitor and collect data on our oceans. The technological experiments concerns the use of GNSS signals to measure ocean parameters, otherwise known as GNSS Reflectometry. This scientific payload is considered to be an achievable project for students over the time period of the CCP project. |
