Description

The SUCHAI-3 studies the possibility of resolving the temporal-spatial uncertainty that you have when using only one satellite. It was the conception of our first swarm constellation (with only two CubuSats). This same year, a grant from the Air Force (US) Office for Scientific Research (AFOSR) funded the inclusion of an inter-satellite communication system to evaluate the possibility of using this link to probe the ionosphere and magnetosphere. This grant funded the launch of SUCHAI-3. This extension of the SUCHAI-3 from its original experiment was the seed for doing the same on the SUCHAI-2.
