Equipped with ADS-B module for aircraft location monitoring.

Description

Companion of the Chechen State University. A. A. Kadyrova.

The Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) payload module allows aircraft pilots (ACs), as well as air traffic controllers at ground stations, to observe the movement of an aircraft with great accuracy and receive data on its location in real time. Thus, communication with the aircraft is possible along the entire route of its movement.

The transmission of aircraft position messages is possible and practiced through large communication satellites, but by a small number of air traffic controllers due to the high cost of information transmission. The technology for transmitting data from the aircraft to the control towers is being tested for the first time on the MSC of the CubeSat 3U form factor Akhmat-1.

One ADS-B module, installed on one small spacecraft, will provide a zone for receiving signals from the aircraft for at least 1500 km.
