Test Brazilian data collection transponder for the Brazilian Data Collection System and Argos System. |
| Description |
It carries several experimental payloads: a data collection system, a GPS receiver and a camera system providing a ground resolution of about 80 m. Test a national (Brazilian) development of a data collection transponder compatible with the Brazilian Data Collection System and with the Argos System. Test a national (Brazilian) GPS receiver. Test a national (Brazilian) sensor board, with an IMU (3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis magnetometer and 3-axis gyrometer) and a gama and x ray sensor. Test a camera for Earth imagery. Perform a communication experiment with the amateur radio community, where the satellite will be able to receive, store and forward (under request) a number of SMP messages from/to an amateur radio. |
