Module for receiving ADS-B messages. Module for measuring the Earth's magnetic field.

Description

The satellite of the Chechen State University named after A. A. Kadyrov is designed to measure the Earth's magnetic field.

The Earth's magnetic field measurement module allows collecting information about the intensity of the geomagnetic field and its heterogeneity. The data obtained will allow identifying magnetic anomalies (such as the Brazilian Magnetic Anomaly or the Kursk Magnetic Anomaly) and predicting natural disasters caused by tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and other "cataclysms" around the world.

Also, as a payload, the CubeSat contains a module for receiving ADS-B (automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast) messages, which allows aircraft pilots and air traffic controllers at ground stations to monitor the aircraft's movement in real time with high accuracy. Communication with the aircraft is possible along its entire route. Transmission of messages about the location of an aircraft is practiced via large communication satellites, but by a small number of air traffic controllers due to the high cost of transmitting information. One ADS-B module installed on the CubeSat will provide a signal reception zone from the aircraft of at least 1,500 km.

Platform: Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "YUZGU".
