Description |
Educational, experimental satellite. The main objective is to verify 3- axes stabilization using a GPS receiver, reaction wheels and magnetorquers. A camera will take picture of Earth to verify the attitude of the satellite. A new attitude control actuator, developed in a PhD thesis, will be first flown on BEESAT-9. A second flight model is to be launched as part of the BEESAT-4 project. Under the name BEESAT-9, the engineering model of BEESAT-4 was modified and prepared for use in space. |
