Measure water vapor in the upper troposphere and lower stratosphere with microwave sensor. |
Description |
Revolutionary approach for making high resolution measurements of atmospheric composition. The technique uses a transmitter and receiver to produce an “active microwave tomographic” capability that will measure water vapor in the upper troposphere and lower stratosphere, along with other species, to a 500m vertical resolution. |
