Description

Take low-resolution photos for training of Mexican space engineers and technological demonstration.

KuauhtliSAT the Ulises 2.0 is a nanosatellite type TubeSat developed inside the aerospace department of the UAT-FI-UNAM. It is planned to be deployed in a polar LEO (between 300 km to 400 km altitude) from the ISS.

Once KuauhtliSAT orbits the Earth, the main mission is to take photos, storage them and transmit them to the GS ECXSAT-B located at UAT. Furthermore, the images will be artistically post-processed to expose in a gallery. The operational lifetime is estimated between 3 to 4 months before the satellite burns on the atmosphere by orbit decay.
