Oneliner	Mars Space provides innovative solutions in space and plasma technology, with special emphasis on electric propulsion, advanced concepts and the space environment (in particular solar radiation environments).
Notes	Mars Space is currently developing a complete propulsion system based on a 3.5cm Radio Frequency Gridded Ion Engine. The thruster was designed in the frame of ESA programmes to meet the propulsion requirements of ESA NGGM mission. The current efforts are focused on bringing the thruster from a TRL4/5 to TRL6/7, together with the harness and pipework, and development of a dry (propellantless) neutraliser. The work so far has been focussed on industrialisation of the thruster, including the development of thermomechanical and ion optics models. In addition, Mars Space is also involved in the interfacing of a Thruster Pointing Mechanism (TPM), which is being developed by AVS. Current MSL activities will also focus on the development of suitable propellant tanks and Flow Control Unit with commercial partners, with the overall systems engineering and integration being the responsibility of Mars Space Ltd.
