Creation of a three-dimensional non-stationary model of the distribution of the level of electromagnetic radiation near the Earth.

Description

The third satellite of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University has a number of payloads with various purposes.

An antenna system with a built-in receiver for global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) signals, which is specially adapted for operation in low earth orbits. One of the tasks: correcting errors and improving the accuracy of terrestrial geopositioning systems.

Radio receiving equipment with specialized antenna-feeder systems for measuring the power of the spectrum in a band of up to 50 MHz with an interval of 100 MHz in the frequency range of 0.1 … in a long-term analysis. It will be possible to study the statistical results of measurements that will be transmitted by the spacecraft.

The satellite also includes an Automatic Identification System (AIS) module and a survey camera, which serves to evaluate the operation of the SSC subsystems with resolutions of 640x480, 320x240, 160x120 pixels.

To correct the position in orbit, the spacecraft has a low-thrust gas engine. Freon acts as a working fluid.
